Tooth jewels

Tooth jewel is mainly a tiny plaything for embellishing the nice smile. A little rhinestone or other little piece of precious metal blinking nicely, cheerfully or perhaps in a sexy way. These are usually fixed on upper incisors or canines.

For attaching tooth jewels the enamel need not be drilled or prepared. The tiny jewel is attached to its place with a glue developed for this purpose and also used in other fields of dentistry.

The tooth jewel usually remains at its place for a half year. This interval depends on the position of the jewel, the eating habits or possible biting disorders of the patient.

If the patient gets bored with it in the meantime, it can easily be removed or replaced with another one. It does not harm the enamel and nothing is dissolved from it into the mouth.
